Ellie Jane Goulding was born in Hereford England on December 30 1986. Tracey Goulding Summers was her mother and Arthur Goulding belonged to a family of undertakers. Goulding is the second of three children and has a brother named Alex and a sister who is older named Isabel and a younger sister known as Jordan. Alex is her brother, and she plays the bass with a Hereford group. Her mother to learn music as a young girl. She began learning to play the clarinet when she was nine. In her 14th year when she began to write songs. But, she did not begin to pursue songwriting until her college years.
